The 2010 Summer Season

Our 49th summer season has officially wrapped! Thank you to everyone who patronized the Company's summer performances of Carmen and Viva La Mamma. It was a wonderful season and we look forward to celebrating our 50th anniversary season in 2011. Please check back for 2011 summer season repertoire and 50th anniversary celebration information.

 

MET Live in HD Partnership Continues

For the fourth year in a row, Lake George Opera at Saratoga is proud to again partner with The Metropolitan Opera in presenting the 2010-11 Live in High-Definition  Series. The live HD broadcasts, beginning with Wagner's Das Rheingold on October 9th, will again take place at Crossgates Regal Mall Cinema and will run from October until early May (click for schedule). Tickets can be  purchased beginning in September at the Crossgates Mall box office, through the Fandango website at  www.fandango.com, online atwww.metopera.org/hd or by calling 1-800-Met-Opera (1-800-638-6737). The Met: Live in HD 2010–11 Season

Now in its fifth year, the Peabody Award-winning series will present a record 11 live transmissions to movie theaters worldwide. Tickets for the 2010–11 HD season go on sale in September, with priority access for Met members (before tickets are made available to the general public). The schedule is as follows:
